Casa Hydra : A land that felt like remembering

March 2025 : The discovery

Discovering the land at sunrise. The light was still soft, almost hesitant, and yet I already knew. Instant love at first sight. Not a second thought, not a doubt, just this crystal-clear feeling that this was it.

Perched in the mountains behind Burgos, in Monteverde, the green mountain, the land opens into two distinct spaces, as if it had already drawn its own future: one part for the house, another, more hidden, buried in the jungle, destined for a transformation center. Between the two, a breath. A balance.

I felt a deep, almost ancient connection, as if the place recognized me as much as I recognized it. And in the silence of the mountains, everything became clear.

April 2025 : The quest

We had to trace the land back to its rightful owner, to find out who it truly belonged to. It was a somewhat unclear path at first, until my friend Shymalin helped me reconnect with the right people. And then everything fell into place. It was so fluid that it really felt like it was the right place.

June 2025 : I sign the land

1850 square meters, now real, tangible, grounded. As if the place had simply waited for the right pieces to fall into place, never doubting me.

September, the administrative begins

In September and October, the land slowly began to take shape. A bamboo fence was erected, like a gentle first boundary between the world and what would be born here.

This was also the time of my first discussions with my architect, Mona. Ideas flowed, the first plans emerged, still fragile but already carrying a sense of direction. We weren't really building yet; we were listening, drawing, imagining together.

This was the concrete beginning of Hydra Universe. Not yet a house, not yet a center. But already an intention taking root in the material world.

In October I leave for India to train in breathwork

The project continues to thrive. From afar, I've begun handling the administrative tasks, starting the initial steps for building permits.

In India, something invisible has also taken root. In every temple, every ashram I visited, I prayed, meditated, and set the intention for Hydra Universe.

I entrusted it with a wish that was both simple and vast: that it would grow, that it would heal, that it would find its rightful place. It was strange and yet fitting: being elsewhere, in a different rhythm, while simultaneously laying the official foundations of what would become Casa Hydra. As if the two worlds were responding to each other, each moving forward in its own way.

January 2026, land blessing and foundations

In January, I blessed the land and asked persmission to build. I contacted the spirits of the land and asked to work hand in hand with them. They ask me to keep 2/3 of the land for replanting.

The initial work begins, and with it, something very real takes root in the earth. Deep excavations take place, sometimes more than three meters, to lay the foundations of the house. Nothing is symbolic here; everything becomes matter, effort, structure.

And in parallel, another foundation is being built, more invisible but just as essential: mine. My life here takes shape through private retreats, individual sessions, and group classes that are beginning to exist, slowly, concretely.

Two constructions advance in parallel: that of the place and that of the life that accompanies it.

Avril 2026, foundations are finished, we are starting to build the house

They are there, invisible but solid, like a promise kept by the earth. We now enter the phase that rises. The one where the project emerges from the ground, where the structure begins to climb, to shape the volumes, to give presence to what was still only an idea. What was dug becomes vertical. The house begins to appear in the landscape, slowly, as if breathing for the first time.
